According to the research conducted by the Global Industry Analysts Inc, the global pigment market is set to grow to 9.9 million tons in volume and $26.53 billion in value, by 2017. The massive growth of the pigment and dyes industry is attributed to the growth in the key industries that are using the pigments. But in addition, the demand is also on the rise because of the growing consciousness of the people towards environmentally friendly products. Also, we see a shift towards high pigment concentration and bright aesthetics, which also helps in boosting the demand of dyes and pigments. Thus, we would be witnessing an unprecedented high demand for organic pigments<\/a><\/strong> and high performance dyes.<\/p>\n

Asia- Pacific region has emerged as the leading consumer of pigments and dyes owing to several factors. The growth can be attributed to the migration of manufacturing industry from the western world to the east because of the low operational cost and strict environment compliance laws. The demand for organic pigments and dyes would be largest in China, while India ranks second in the consumption of organic pigments and dyes.<\/p>\n
