Hot Brand ("Hot Named") reactive dyes are a series in the SunActive® range that are applied under strong alkaline conditions at a higher temperature than 'M' Series dyes. They have very good fastness to washing, perspiration and light, and are particularly suited to printing on cotton and viscose.

Hot Brand dyes need strong alkaline conditions and a higher application temperature. M Series (Cold Brand) dyes fix under milder alkaline conditions at about 25–35°C. As a result, Hot Brand dyes are chosen mainly for printing, while Cold Brand dyes suit lower-temperature application.

They are used mainly on cellulosic fibres such as cotton and viscose, especially for textile printing. Like other reactive dyes, they form a covalent bond with the fibre in the presence of alkali, which gives durable, wash-fast results. They are not meant for polyester or nylon.

The range has 12 shades: Yellow H4-G (Reactive Yellow 18), Golden Yellow HR (Reactive Orange 12), Orange H2R (Reactive Orange 13), Red H8B (Reactive Red 31), Red 6BX (Reactive Red 76), Purple H3R (Reactive Violet 1), Magenta HB (Reactive Violet 13), Blue 5RH (Reactive Blue 13), Turquoise Blue H5G (Reactive Blue 25), Navy Blue RX (Reactive Blue 59), Red Brown H4R (Reactive Brown 9) and Black HN (Reactive Black 8).
