Organic pigments offer bright, vivid shades with high tinting strength, making them ideal for packaging, consumer goods, and fashion plastics. However, they may have lower heat stability and higher cost than inorganic pigments. Inorganic pigments (such as iron oxides, titanium dioxide, and carbon black) offer excellent heat stability, opacity, and durability — preferred in technical plastics, automotive parts, and outdoor applications. Most masterbatch manufacturers use a combination of both to balance cost, performance, and appearance.
